MEET MELISSA

In the race for State Representative, Melissa Brewer is the only candidate with the full life’s experience needed to understand our concerns and fight for them in Harrisburg as our voice.

Born and raised in Berks County – where she has lived her entire life and raised her own children – Melissa learned early the values that matter in life: hard work, helping others, faith, and freedom. It is those values that have driven her in all she does, whether in her professional career or volunteering with her church.

Melissa believes that supporting our Constitution and protecting our freedoms is the most important job of our legislators – and will work to do just that in Harrisburg. That means working to protect taxpayers by limiting the size and cost of government, preserving our Constitutional Rights, especially the 2nd Amendment, ensuring secure elections, and standing strong for parental rights.

MEET MELISSA

Guided by our shared values. Experience that only a full life can provide. Deep roots in Berks County. That’s who Melissa Brewer is – and what makes her the best choice for State Representative.

A graduate of Berks County’s public schools, Melissa earned degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, Kutztown University, and the University of Pennsylvania – degrees she put into the real work of helping improve our education system as a teacher and school administrator for more than 30 years. As an educator, she was a strong advocate for parental involvement and taxpayers – working to make Pennsylvania’s education system better for all of us.

Along with being a proven and effective educator, Melissa is also a small businesswoman in our community. Helping run a small business with her husband, she knows what it means to meet a budget – a skill our next legislator will need to help grow Pennsylvania’s economy and make sure workers have the opportunity for financial freedom.

Melissa and her husband, Ashley, are raising two children together, both of whom either attend or graduated from Oley Valley schools. They attend Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church together as a family.

Active in our community over the past three decades, Melissa has given her time and effort to her church, and organizations supporting children, education, music, and local communities.
